Friends

How friending works and what it unlocks.

Friendships on Pulse are mutual, not follows. Tap Add friend on a profile and they accept. If you both send requests, the friendship accepts automatically.

Being friends unlocks:

Direct messages without a message request.
Friends-only activities, and invites to invite-only ones.
Each other’s hosted and joined activity lists.
A notification when a friend posts an activity.
Pokes. After you poke, it is their turn.
