Notifications

The bell on Explore opens your notifications inbox. A red dot means something is unread, and Mark all clears it.

Push notifications cover new messages, friend requests, pokes, activity invites, joins, join requests, approvals and cancellations. Every type has its own on and off toggle in Settings under Notifications, grouped into Messages, Friends and Activities.

All types start on. Turning one off only silences that type; the rest keep working.
